Open User search and enter a username. Three formats work: a bare name, u/name, or a link to a Reddit profile. Subdex normalizes them before searching.
Choosing how much to load
The default loads up to 100 records. The 500 and 1,000 options are retrieved over several requests, because the archive returns at most 100 per request.
For an account with years of activity, start with 100. It is usually enough to see the shape of the data and tells you whether a larger load is worth the wait.
Reading the result
The summary shows archive records found, posts, comments, unique subreddits and the span of dates loaded.
Each figure carries a rule on its left. Solid means the archive returned it. Dashed means Subdex calculated it from the records loaded. Dotted means coverage is incomplete — either a request failed or you stopped loading.
That distinction is the point of the interface. "Archive records found" is not the same as "posts this person has made," and the rules keep the difference visible.
Stopping
Stop halts loading and keeps what has arrived. The result is marked partial, because it is.
