Keyword needs a scope

A keyword on its own is rejected. The archive cannot search all of Reddit for a word, so a keyword must be paired with a subreddit or an author. The form says this before sending rather than letting the request fail.

Seeing the request

View request shows the exact query that will be sent, with a copy button. This is useful for reproducing a search elsewhere, and for understanding why a query was rejected.

Sorting

Results sort by date. The archive does not rank by score, so sorting by score in the results list reorders what you loaded rather than searching for the highest-scoring posts overall.
